On Jan. 2, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., two unknown suspects were seen on camera entering multiple vehicles at Colonial Heights Fire Station #2. It was later determined that items, including a firearm and a wallet containing expired credit cards, were taken from two of the vehicles. The suspects were later viewed on camera at the Wawa located at Route 1 and Woods Edge Road in Chesterfield County attempting to make a purchase with a declined card. Both suspects left the store and walked south.
