January is National Crime Stoppers Month!
We are very pleased that January is recognized as National Crime Stoppers month. It gives us a rare opportunity in the spotlight. Crime Solvers / Crime Stoppers / Crime Line, and Silent Witness programs are all throughout the United States of America. These programs help law enforcement agencies solve cases and capture fugitives, all while keeping the tipsters anonymous. The programs then pay cash rewards for those helpful tips. Rewards cannot be paid for using government funds and/or taxes, so the programs MUST rely on donations to provide this service to the local communities.
You can help us celebrate this month by considering a nominal donation to our cause. At the locations below, you will be asked if you would like to donate at least $1 to the program. In exchange, you will get to write your name (or an "in memory of") on a Crime Solvers cutout which will then be displayed in the store accepting the donation. Crime Solvers will receive 100% of the proceeds from this campaign, so PLEASE consider how much you can afford to give. The cutouts can be found at the following locations throughout Chesterfield and Colonial Heights:
